Kooth will be working with GO! Network members Athlon to lead on the consolidation of their digital presence in 2024 after a competitive pitch process.

Kooth, the longest established digital mental health provider in the UK and now expanding into the USA, have recently confirmed the appointment of global brand and product studio Athlon after a competitive pitch process through The GO! Network.

The agency will lead on streamlining the brand’s digital landscape, helping make quality mental health care accessible to all.

The Pitch

Kooth initially approached GO! looking to source a leading agency that would design and build a new website for all their commercial, referrer, media, and employee audiences for both the UK and USA, whilst also showcasing the brand story.

On choosing The GO! Network to manage the agency search and selection process, Jonathan Edwards, Marketing Director at Kooth, shared; “Navigating the agency marketplace is very time consuming – working with GO! is a fast track to being connected to agencies with the right capabilities and keen to work with us.”

The Appointment

After meeting with a shortlist of qualified agencies and a final two-way competitive pitch, it was global brand and product studio Athlon that secured the partnership.

On what won the day for the agency, Jonathan shared that Athlon had “the right capabilities and geo-graphical footprint, the best understanding of the brief and Kooth as a business, best chemistry in terms of personnel, and shared a genuine passion for supporting Kooth's mission in mental health.”

On the experience of the pitch process for the agency, Daniel Henderson, Managing Partner at Athlon shared that “It was a very clear and concise briefing process, where we felt well informed to go off and do research to pull together our proposal.”

The teams will be working together throughout 2024.
