GO! Network members eight&four will be working with the consumer goods leader to develop and deliver a host of content across the full JML product range after a competitive pitch process.

UK-based consumer product leaders JML have confirmed the appointment of London-based agency eight&four to support a growing integrated social media strategy into the new year.

The successful agency, who initially pitched through The GO! Network for the project requirement, will now be building out a variety of content and creative across more than 30 products across the full JML product range.

The Pitch

JML initially approached GO! with the desire to provide a full refresh of the brands social media presence, output, and strategy.

Kevin Dickens, Group Marketing Director at JML shared; “JML has underinvested in their social media strategy and so when we decided to fast track a re-invigorated assault on social, we knew we had to look for an agency with the right experience to help us.

We had already been introduced to GO! and they seemed like the right choice to help us quickly find a group of qualified agency candidates who could enhance our social presence and strengthen our brand. We felt confident in them from the start and after meeting potential agencies, we knew we had made the right decision.”

The Appointment

After an initial introduction, eight&four’s pitch focused on a blend of both a ‘full-funnel’ social media strategy and a commercially-focused approach moving forward.

On what they think won the day for the agency, Liam Batch, Client Partner Director at eight&four, shared the belief that eight&four demonstrated a “deep social knowledge and understanding, plus a shared passion to deliver business impact, quickly”.

Kevin shared; “eight&four put together an amazing pitch presentation, demonstrating the type of content JML was looking for. The team were a great match for JML's culture and ambitions as a brand and working with them on the brand, strategy and deliverables has been a real pleasure. They are personable, approachable, and passionate about what they do, and they’re clearly relishing the challenges we have set them.”

On the GO! process, Liam shared that “The GO! briefing process was detailed, well communicated, and collaborative throughout.”

The teams will be working together effective immediately, with initial projects underway through to 2024.
