Citypress will support the automotive manufacturing leader across PR, Digital and Social Media.

Continental have appointed Manchester-based independent agency Citypress after a competitive pitch process via The GO! Network.

The PR & Communications agency will lead on a new consumer behaviour strategy for Continental, developing existing work and bringing a fresh approach to their marketing communications activity.

The Process

On the requirements and appointment process, Claire Hohenberg, PR Manager at Continental, explained:

‘We needed to appoint a new consumer-focused integrated PR, Digital Marketing & Social Media agency with relevant experience.

GO! presented a great selection of agencies that all showed relevant experience to meet our brief. The quality gave us confidence in knowing we would end up with a suitable agency at the end of the process.’

The Appointment

On the appointment, Claire said, ‘Overall, [Citypress] met all the requirements of the brief in the best way. They have relevant automotive experience and a good understanding of social and PR, they were passionate in their delivery, and are a team we could all see ourselves working well with.’

‘I found working with GO! really helped to streamline and simplify the agency search process – they also saved us a lot of time, helping us write our collective brief, and making the whole process as stress-free as possible.’

When it came to what won out for Citypress, Managing Director Martin Currie said it was ‘Creative ideas, chemistry and approach to client service.’
